What will you learn?

You have prior experience, but you’ve been a way for a while and technology changes quickly. Our curriculum is setup for you to quickly fill your technology gap and on ramp and relaunch your career with the appropriate knowledge.

     1. Overview of technology. This is where we will provide you the

taxonomy and the basics about new tools, methodologies, and new

     trends.

     2. Deep dive into technology to gain a strong understanding in

infrastructure and Software Development. Don’t worry you don’t have

to go into this after the program, but it will help you to rebuild your

     foundation.

     3. Deep hands on self-reflection and leadership training. This portion

will help to lift you back into understanding yourself and how to lead

teams. We always say, “you have to know yourself before you can

     lead others.”

    4. Build up your personal brand, update your CV, and get you ready

     for those future interviews.

We meet weekly on Friday nights and Saturdays for classroom instruction and hands on learning. Program participants are expected to spend time outside of classroom instruction to read, complete projects, and come prepared for Friday and Saturday.

Who is the program designed for?

This program is specifically designed for women and non-binary individuals who want to get back into the technology field but have taken time away or need reskilling.

We focus on both leadership and technology skill sets. Therefore, we help women who want to relaunch their careers, upskill for career advancement, or women who are seeking entrepreneurship.

We make the class size small to learn without distractions. We work to provide onsite childcare, a lactation location, private networking, and friendly instruction dates and hours.

This program is not for women who are beginners in technology or women who want to deep dive into programming. Also, if you cannot commit the time outside of class to complete the requirements, this may not be the program for you.

We know that by having a cohort you learn from each other as well as you learn from the instructors. We also believe what you put into the program is what you get out of the program.

We are focused on providing individualized plans that works with each student. We work with you to setup a plan to help you get to where you want to go. Once you complete our program you may want to take more advanced classes, or you may be ready to jump back into your career. Either way we will work with you to setup a plan on what is next.

After you complete the program, there will be opportunities to get back together as a cohort. Helping with hackathons or attending meetups together. All along the way the cohort become your support in ways you never thought.

How does childcare work?

The childcare will be available if asked for in advance. We work with certified individuals and certified companies who will provide childcare.

We do need advance notice to make sure we have childcare arranged for. Once arranged, when you arrive for class a waiver will need to be signed.

Are there scholarships available?

Limited scholarships are available on a needed basis. Please work with us and we will work with participants on a case by case basis.

Our availability for funding is based on our fundraising efforts and company revenue.

Why a program for women and non-binary individuals?

We know from experience a traditional tech learning can be intimidating. We want to provide a safe and supportive environment where women and non-binary individuals from all backgrounds and experience levels can have a fantastic learning experience, exploring their technical abilities, meeting others and learning.

Do I need to be a woman to participate?

Participation is open to anyone who identifies as a woman or a non-binary individual. All participants are asked to include their preferred pronouns on their name tags and use the preferred pronouns of others.

If you do not identify as a woman or non-binary individual you can be involved as a volunteer or mentor
